Delicious seafood meal. Shrimp, 🍤 , and more shrimp with a side of creamy crab soup 🍲. ..and a Mule. Thanks Dave, the retired fireman 🚒 from DC for telling me to check this place out. This is one of my favorites now when I deliver to Cambridge.

Great food and service

They gave me strawberries, excellent service, wonderful food.

Went here as part of a history trip with my museum. Didn't know what to expect. Of course you have to get seafood and a seafood restaurant so I got the crab cake. It was excellent. There was no filler! If you eat crabcakes you know how much you look forward to that. The staff was great. If ever I'm back in that part of Maryland I'd go back. I know its amazing in the summer sitting on the water.

Good food but our server was not wearing any mask. She should have gotten hint when we put on masks when she approached. This should not be allowed.

Excellent service, beautiful waterfront view, top of the line prime rib and crab cakes! Honorable mention the sautéed mushrooms! 5 thumbs up!!

We loved the food at this restaurant! We were seated quickly and it was very comfortable. The wait staff was very accommodating. And all at a good price point. We would like to come here again.

Loved this great find with outdoor seating by the water. The staff were friendly and the food was good and fast. 4 stars only because the prices were a little bit high on the apps. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a “locals” type vibe place to grab some seafood and looked it up will on the road. Right off the main road and by the water. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable on the menu items. We sat outside on the deck, they had seats under cover so 85 degrees with cover and a light breeze was very comfy. Ordered the crab fries for an appetizer and it was big enough for three. Then the shrimp basket and house specialty Rock Fish Bites! AWESOME!!! We will drive back for a night out from Northern Virginia, does that tell you how good they are???? Lindsey was an awesome server! There enough to take care of anything you need, but left you alone to enjoy the food, conversation, and the scenic view. Definitely a must stop and check out!

The pics migth not be so appealing but the taste of the food was beyong amazing, I will 100% recomend it. Staff super friendly and attentive.

Best Chesapeake Chicken sandwich!The sweet potato fries are even better!Great view. Great staff!

Good food with great water views and outdoor seating. Good prices

Stopped here for lunch on Columbus day, the restaurant was not prepared for how busy they would be. Granted Snappers Cafe, also with waterfeont views, was closed unexpectedly, but the kitchen was very slow. Servers were a bit in the weeds but they were put in tough situation by the glacial kitchen pace. The food, when it did arrive, was very good. Started with the crab balls, mainly because they ran out of oysters. Wife had fish tacos, which were delicious. I had the crab melt, also very good. Definitely worth the visit but kitchen pace this particular visit was really off putting. Deliberate pace is one thing, this was just too noticeable to not say something. Might have gone to 4 stars if pacing was anywhere close to normal.

The view from the outside deck is very nice especially if the temperature is mild and the flies stay away. This place has been here since 1997 and the furnishings and set up screams dated. A makeover is in order and thorough de clutter. I had blackened tuna which seemed a little chewy but the flavor was good. My waitress was prompt and helpful. Sitting on the river with a marina in view was pleasant.

Went to PortSide this past Tuesday (after leaving Snappers, never will go there again.) I’m glad we stopped at Port Side, the employees, service and food was amazing, the hostess sat us in a nice covered area, they were opening in 15 minutes and it was so nice of her to seat us early, server was really cool, he was so professional and new the menu, his suggestions hit the spot, crab dip was hot and crabby, scallops, stuffed rock fish and stuffed shrimp were delicious, all plates had a nice sized portion and the sides were all homemade. All in all, such a nice afternoon!, Thanks to all the people at PortSide for great food, happy faces and happy professional attitudes.

Great local spot to gather with friends and enjoy good food. Friendly service and great view... Way better than the Snappy place across the bay

The of us had dinner this evening and all of the food was very good. I had fish tacos that were excellent, recommended by another local business owner. Wife had steamed clams and daughter had chicken tenders and they were both very happy with them. Sophie, our waitress, was okay despite not being very friendly or observant to our needs unless asked. If service was better I would have probably rated this waterfront restaurant 5 stars.

Food was great and the waitress had great hospitality. I will be eating there again. 5 🌟 service

Quaint place with great seafood and other fare. Unique entrees and a beautiful setting to see the inlet and the drawbridge was a pleasant surprise to see. Only downfall to the outdoor seating was we were attacked by flies and bees. Nothing takes away your appetite like a fly dive bombing your food and dying on the plate. Highly recommend the crabby burger!

Awesome view is a 10...Service is a 5...kitchen is a 0...A party of 4 waited 1 hour for 3 appetizers and 2 hours four sandwiches...

The food was amazing, the view was nice and the orange crush was delicious. My 4yo was with us and when I asked about a kids menu the waitress said that they ran out but explained what was available.

First visit, Shrimp and Crab cakes were excellent and fresh, but the crab cakes were kinda small. When I'm back in Cambridge, I'll definitely visit again.

Sitting out on the deck with the sun shining down on the water, cold beer and peel & eat shrimp to get things started. Wife had scallops and I had crab cake. What a great afternoon

The view of the waterfront is beautiful. I enjoyed watch the draw bridge and the steam boat passing. The environment was friendly and the food was ok. I only say ok because I only had a pork barbeque sandwich fries and drink. But my girlfriend said her food was good n sea had sea food. But I'd go to and suggest this restaurant to others to try.

Needs more outdoor lighting. Staff was great. Restrooms were clean.

We stopped in October, obviously near the end of the peak summer season. As such it is hard to tell if the worn appointments were a result of many years of hard service or just one. Had the canvas porch surround been in better repair the cool night would have been kept at bay by the porch heaters and reprieve from the boisterous inside crowd more enjoyable. In the warmer months I'm sure that the deck seating provides a very nice view of the river and associated water traffic. The food and drink were unmemorable but served their purpose and we had lovely conversation with the waitress who was timely.

I would have given 5 stars, but when i mentioned that the sun was just too hot for my husband and I to eat as the sun had shifted, the waitress did not offer to reseat. Food was good though.

The drinks are superb..long islands are great

I'm part of a group known as The Wanderers. Each month we select a restaurant on the Eastern Shore to visit and gab. As I had my mother with me, I, she and my friend Gail were a bit late finding the place so we didn't order what the others had chosen. My soup and sandwich was pretty good, so was Mom's and Gail said her Chesapeake Chicken was delicious. The problems started with the the right other women. Either their onion rings were to hard to eat or their shrimp baskets were to tough. Some toughed it out and some said just take it back. The manager had already left so no satisfaction was ever reached by those affected to my knowledge. It would have been different if it wasn't reserved seating.

For three years everytime I attempt to call in a order no one has ever once answered the phone. Food is ahhh at best. Need better service and a updated facility.

Hadn't been there in years, was great to go back! Had lunch recently. Started with the Cream of Crab Soup, just as good as I remembered! Then I ordered their house salad with grilled salmon on it. Although the salmon was a little over cooked for my taste, it was still good. They have a House Salad dressing that is absolutely fantastic! The service was good, even though it was surprisingly busy for lunch in the middle of the week. I don't know why I haven't been going here, but I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our first visit to the restaurants. We sat outside with a good view of the river. The seafood was nicely prepared (rockfish, scallops & crab cakes). As an appetizer, I recommend the crab dip. Although the restaurant was very busy, our waiter was very attentive and helpful with selections. If you have anyone with mobility issues in your party, keep in mind that they will have to navigate stairways on both entrances to the restaurant.

Good bar food with fish and burgers, fries and onion rings. Rockfish bites were really good. Had take out on the first night of outside dining and the joint was jumping.

One of my favorite places to eat the out door deck is where i like to eat the food taste like it is prepared with love

Very pleasant location. Great at dusk for a good view. Service is great, the food is decent.

Our party stopped at Portside for a lunch gathering, had a good time. Plates were full, food was good as was your waitress. Not much traffic in the water, a couple boats came which was cool, all in all, we'll put it on our "go back again" list.

Our waitress Megan was excellent. Crab soup was the best I have had in years. Well worth the detour off of rte.50.

Told the Kitchen closes at 8. So we got our orders to gather to be told. Oh we cant take anymore orders 2min later and its not even 8 wdh. Who does business like that i'd give them zero stars if I could. 200 dollar order lost and my respect.

Service was good, but food was awful. Megan did a fine job, but the kitchen was horribly slow. Got the bang bang shrimp appetizer, but the shrimp were of the pre-breaded, frozen variety. Tasteless. I ordered the fresh fish, but it was so overcooked it was barely edible. My two boys each got the fish and chips.the fish was good, but the fries were soggy. To add insult to injury, a boat backed in flying two re-elect Trump pennants.I asked another waitress if they served Molotov cocktails, but she said they were fresh out! That was the last straw...

Worth every penny!! My eyes rolled back at minimum 3 times!Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

Food is excellent. Waitresses are nice. 4.5 because food a bit longer than expected. Drinks were delicious!.

Outside deck to soak up sun & enjoy water, we ate blackened tuna steak & sweet potato fries, onion rings & hamburger that were delicious & cooked PERFECTLY! The Jr Crab Dip was very mayonnaisy & I wouldn't order again. The server was very polite. Would definitely visit again for that awesome Tuna Steak!

Waitresses showed discrimination skipped over the black table I had to go to the bar and make my order. It’s not a place for my kind I guess.

Fantastic food, great menu choices, excellent outside dining. I had the seared Ahi Sandwich, outstanding!!!

Very disappointing! Crab slider. crab melt, and crab dip all tasted the same. cream cheese was used in all three of these dishes. I ordered the sweet potato fries that were frozen from a bag. i was hoping being on the eastern shore that could do better! We wont be back.
